What ZeroToOpen is

ZeroToOpen is a business launch planner: a checklist, budget, timeline, and AI assistant to help you plan and open a business. It's provided as-is, and nothing in the app — including AI-generated checklists, budgets, timelines, or chat responses — is legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. Verify anything that matters (licenses, permits, contracts, financing) with a qualified professional or the relevant government agency before acting on it.

Your account

You need an account (email + password) to use ZeroToOpen. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to sign up.

Your data

Your business plan data (checklist progress, budget, tasks, notes, contacts, documents you upload) is stored per "business" workspace and visible only to you and anyone you've explicitly invited to that workspace via an invite link. We don't sell your data.

AI features

The AI launch assistant, niche checklist/budget generator, and social content planner send relevant parts of your business context (industry, location, budget, chat messages) to a third-party AI model provider to generate a response — primarily Groq, with Anthropic as a fallback if Groq is unavailable. Don't paste anything into the app you wouldn't want sent to those providers for processing.

Partners & shared workspaces

The owner of a business workspace can invite partners via a time-limited invite link. Anyone who joins with that link can see and edit the shared plan. The owner can remove a partner at any time; partners cannot remove the owner.

Organizations

Organization accounts (accelerators, nonprofits, investors, government programs) can see the aggregate launch progress metrics of businesses that have consented to connect via the organization's referral link — never those businesses' notes, documents, messages, or budget details. A business owner can disconnect from an organization at any time in Settings.

Acceptable use

Don't use ZeroToOpen to break the law, to attempt to access another user's business workspace without authorization, or to abuse the AI assistant to generate content unrelated to planning a legitimate business launch.

No warranty, limited liability

ZeroToOpen is provided "as is" with no warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZeroToOpen and its operators aren't liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made based on AI-generated content.

Changes

These terms may change as the app evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
